VISTA, California (Reuters) - An expectant mother has become the third suspect to plead not guilty to murder charges in the mysterious slaying of a young woman killed in California while her husband, a U.S. Marine from Camp Pendleton, was away in Afghanistan. SAN ANTONIO (Reuters) - Hot shot federal firefighters called in to battle the toughest U.S. wildfires often avoid reporting symptoms of heatstroke because they fear damaging their professional reputations, said a report commissioned after an elite firefighter died in Texas last year. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - Authorities believe one person is responsible for mailing 20 powder-filled envelopes to schools and a business in the Dallas-Fort Worth area last week and hundreds of similar letters around the world since late 2008, the FBI said on Wednesday. SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California will pay about $3.7 billion for state employees' pension in its next fiscal year, more than it now pays but less than the state set aside for retirement-related expenses in the prior fiscal year, the state's pension fund said on Wednesday.
